New Plymouth Yacht Club is
located on the western end of Ngamotu beach within the harbour at New
Plymouth. From here the club enjoys perfect dingy launching
from the beach, with trailer yachts launching from the boat ramp at the
eastern end of the beach.
Racing may be viewed from the
club and beach for the juniors, or for seniors from the end of the
lee breakwater, or from several high vantage points nearby.
The club has a strong and
active membership from young upcoming juniors to ’old salts’.

Patrol Boat Crews
Patrol boat crews man the
rescue and start boats during club days and regattas for race organisation
and safety. A low subscription rate allows race day officials to
become members and enjoy all the benefits of being in the club.

programme. Additionally, our newsletter is printed every 3 months
